FAQ’s
Who uses premium airport services?

High profile individuals who want speed, discretion and privacy | High Net Worth individuals or families who want safety, security & luxury | Business professionals who travel frequently and want speed & ease so that they can maximise their time in the airport | Luxury travellers who want to extend their first class service onto the ground | Nervous, elderly or young passengers who need a helping hand | Passengers where language barriers are a concern | Families with small children who need the additional assistance to ease the process | Companies sending staff to less desirable locations and have a duty of care | Group travel coordination.

Does Gilded Globe have airside access worldwide?

Yes we do, the only country where this may differ is the USA. Meet & Assist services have certain restrictions in the USA, which are not present in our other airports around the world. There are CBP (Customs & Border Protection) restrictions on our greeters entering the gate area on many international flights.

Therefore, the level of service for many international arrival flights, would consist of the greeter arranging porters to assist from luggage carousel, if applicable/available, then greeter meeting the passenger(s) after they have cleared customs, assisting with luggage/porters, coordinating with onward driver & escorting passenger(s) kerbside to handover to driver.

International departure services in the USA are frequently full kerb to gate but can sometimes be dependent on flight.

Our greeters do as much prep work as possible to ensure passengers are assisted to/from gate and sometimes work with the airlines and or airport authorities to provide the best levels of service possible. The level of service in the USA can depend on a number of factors; airport/airline/route/terminal/class of travel, therefore we clarify service description available to our clients after we have received the booking, if it differs from our standard.

How much do these services cost?

Premium Meet & Assist services typically range from £80 to £600, with an average of £330, per service. Exclusive Access services range from £200 to £6,000, with an average of £1,330, per service. Depending on number of passengers and add-ons.

What is the difference between the two services?

Premium Meet & Assist services provide you with an airport greeter to whisk you through the airport terminals from kerbside to plane-side and vice versa.

With Exclusive Access services you bypass the commercial terminal completely, you are taken to a private lounge/terminal where all security processes are undertaken in-house, you are driven across the runway to/from the commercial aircraft. Much like a private jet experience but when flying commercially.

Please see our ‘Services’ page for more info.

How much notice is required to book?

We advise on providing us with as much notice as possible to guarantee availability, however we do receive and service a number of last minute requests (within 48 hours of service) but availability is not guaranteed. Late bookings can also be subject to a last minute booking fee, which you will be advised of at the time of request.

How is payment made?

We will email your invoice to you once the service is confirmed, you will have the option to click on a payment link to pay by card online or be given instructions for a bank transfer. All services must be paid by the invoice date or we have the right to cancel the request.

Can we book wheelchairs with Gilded Globe?

Due to airport and airline regulations, we are unable to book these services on your behalf. If you require a wheelchair or any other special assistance outside of our services, then please book these directly with your airline and be sure to inform us in the notes section when making a booking with us, then our greeters are prepared and can coordinate with the PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) team. Please note that when passengers require PRM assistance, this can sometimes slightly impact the standard processes for our services, in terms of access routes.
